Kanha National Park

Kanha National Park is situated in the State of Madhya Pradesh. It is one of best managed tiger reserve in Asia. The park is open from 16th October to 30th June every year and is best tiger safari destination. Kanha Tiger Reserve is home to many animals, birds, reptiles and insects and is the best place for photographing tigers along with animals like hard ground barasingha, leopard, gaur, sloth bear, wild dog and others.

Day 1

After arrival in Jabalpur transfer by road in AC vehicles to Kanha and check in to award winning Kanha Village Eco Resort. Kanha is one of the best place to see Tigers in the wild and has been known for its best managed national park tag for some time now. The management here leaves no stone unturned to save this beautiful and pristine forest and its bio-diversity. Today we enjoy a Jungle walk with expert naturalist and Tribal guide in buffer forest adjoining the resort, an experience you will long for again and again.

Day 2 – 5

We will be taking 4 morning and 4 evening safaris in coming days for sightings of magnificent animals and birds covering different zones of Kanha national park.

In morning safaris we will be able to see Tiger on elephant back if ‘Tiger Show’ is declared by the department. At Kanha we will see animals like Hard Ground  Barasingha or the twelve tinned Swamp deer which is endemic to Kanha. Other animals include  Gaur, Spotted deer, Sambhar, Black Buck, Wild Dog, Jackal, Fox, Hyena, etc.

Kanha is well known for more than 250 varieties of birds found in this region including Paradise Fly Catcher, Peacock, Parakeet, Drongo, Myna, Sun Bird, Koel, etc.  So, keep your camera always ready to click as you don’t know what we may see while travelling through Sal forest and meadows.

Day 6

We leave for Jabalpur via Bhedhagaht where you will be able to visit Marble Rock for boating and the famous Dhuandhar Falls in vicinity. On reaching we will have sumptuous lunch and leave for the railway station from where we catch our train back to the capital of India – New Delhi.

  • 8 Jungle Safari on open Gypsy on sharing basis as given in the Itinerary, subject to availability.

  • Package is valid from 1st April 208 till 30th June 2018.

  • For Jungle Safari name, fathers name, age and address of guests with detail of id proof of all guests is required for pre booking. Safari / zone is subject to availability.

30 Days or more 75% refund

15-29 Days 50% refund

08-14 Days 25% refund

07 days or below No refund

(Once safaris have been booked refund will be made after deducting safari charges over and above the given cancellation rates).

Note:

• • Child policy: If age of child is between 6 - 12 years charges @ 25% of above package cost is payable extra. Child of 12 years or more are treated as extra person.

  • Extra person in same room will be charged 40% of above package cost.

  • Maximum occupancy per room / cottage: 3 pax.
